Obrad Dragičević | Owner and CEO
Since taking over GIS soft in 2005, Obrad Dragičević is CEO and 100% owner of the company.
During his extensive professional career, he worked in several state institutions and implemented many successfull projects. He has five years experience in the municipal geodetic authority of Tuzla, working on all matters related to the land cadastre.
Then he spent eight years as the leading expert on monitoring and analysis of the subsidence in Tuzla.
He has worked on all engineering and survey work related to the construction of infrastructure of the city of Tuzla.
He has seven years of international experience working in a number of Canadian companies of which the most important are Mackay&Mackay&Peters from Hamilton and Teranet from Toronto, a leading company in the field of electronic land registration in Ontario, Canada.
Upon returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2000, he worked in the Republic administration for geodetic and property affairs on the implementation of the project for the digitalization of analogue geodetic plans and the electronic land registration.
He has implemented a number of international projects related to the improvement of the land registry in the Republic of Srpska and in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Since taking over GIS soft in 2005 untill today, he has worked on many projects from geodesy, geoinformatics and GIS.
He owns personal licences for the performance, design, management and supervision in the fields of:
- survey and property cadastre and cadastre of communal utilities;
- redistribution of agricultural land;
- cartography;
- geodetic works in engineering and technical fields.
He graduated from the Faculty of Geodesy in Sarajevo in 1977, and then graduated from the CDI College of Business & Technology in Hamilton, Canada in 1999, earning a degree of Programmer Analyst.
